. . . There was a Soho. And she loved rude boys with serious mohawks, piercings, and lots of tattoos. And she loved going to shows, and running around in her 18 eye silver Doc Martins, causing trouble with bottle rockets, glitter, and on one very interesting evening, spaghetti. She was something else, let me tell you. And I love her with all of my heart and soul.

P.S. I just tried on the Docs (because yes, of course I kept them!), and while I love me some stilettos, no shoes have ever made me feel half of what those boots do. . . Damn!

You know sister there must be something about kick ass boots because I love mine too
I’ll have to post a picture of mine. In addition to the Docs, I have some steel-toe Undergrounds, which I refer to as my ‘shit-kickers’.
And then there are the high-heeled black boots with the laces up the back. . . Those have their own special magic.
Mine are my first clunky police boots. I still have them and they go on when I camo out for training. I’ve thought of writing a blog post about these boots, hmmm.
My boot addiction began very young, I think pretty much as soon as I could walk. You really should write a post! Me, I’ll probably just take some pictures, if I get super motivated.
Oh how I’ve loved this song. Brings back memories. You never seize to surprise me.
It’s good stuff, and I’m glad that you enjoyed it.
I am too. And you know, I always wanted some Docs! But finding them in kids sizes was difficult and they were a bit pricey. Mami tried to get some for me and I eventually didn’t want them, hehe, but now you just made me think… hmmmm.
You should look around and see what you might find for yourself!
Oh as soon as I’m able to get a job (and hopefully not freak out and keep it), I will!
Ruby,
She’s still in you… You know that, right? I’m glad you rekindled with her.
Le Clown
She pops up every now and again and causes me to laugh and smile and miss. She will live forever in her own time, and I wouldn’t begrudge her that for all of the world.
